About Brendan Wong
I am a remedial massage therapist with over two decades of experience. I graduated with distinction in 2000 with a Diploma of Health Science (Massage Therapy) and have since been dedicated to my profession. I have a keen interest in functional musculoskeletal anatomy, cervical dysfunctions, and wet lab excursions. My knowledge and skills are not just theoretical but are honed through extensive practical experience.
I have been teaching and facilitating massage courses across Gold Coast and Kingscliff TAFEs for 18 years, including 9 years at MSQ where my massage studies began. I have helped shape the future of many aspiring massage therapists.
My home-based clinic, Total Massage has provided relief for clients suffering from a variety of conditions. Despite his busy schedule, I has always found time to treat my clients, demonstrating dedication and commitment to the massage profession.
I spent 8 invaluable years as the head massage therapist and massage coordinator for the Gold Coast Titans NRL team and 4 years with the Gold Coast Blaze NBL team. These roles not only required me to work with top-tier athletes but also provided a platform for my students to gain rare experience in the elite sports environment.
More recently, I facilitated workshops and webinars for Massage & Myotherapy Australia, Australia’s leading massage association.
Although I grew up close to great surf beaches in Victoria, I only learnt to surf after moving to the Gold Coast.
I am thrilled to be returning to MSQ. I am passionate about massage therapy and are dedicated to my clients and students.
