Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural circulation of the lymph through the body.
Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow.
This module will provide learners with an advance understanding of the lymphatic system and its role in body defence. Learners will understand how impairment of the lymphatic system can lead to a range of physical dysfunctions.
From this point, you will become proficient in a style of manual lymphatic drainage, which may be used to treat any physical disorders involving the retention of fluid. A vital treatment technique for the remedial therapist. This course is delivered by fully qualified trainers.
On successful completion of this course students will receive a Certificate of Attendance
