The Diploma of Remedial Massage course provides graduates with the highest-level massage industry qualification. Once you have completed your Diploma in Remedial Massage you then have the opportunity to apply for a provider number which allows your clients to claim substantial rebates for their Remedial Massage treatments. More and more clients are becoming aware of the benefits of Remedial Massage as well as the financial benefits of claiming massage treatments on their Private Health Insurance. 

Students who go on to complete a Diploma of Remedial Massage after completing their Certificate IV in Massage Therapy will become much more experienced and competent therapists allowing them to charge an increased hourly rate and also increase their employment opportunities in the industry. 

During our Remedial massage course students will get the opportunity to study a wide range of specialised techniques; Advanced deep tissue tecniques, Trigger point therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial release, Mobilisation, Facilitated stretching, Sports Massage, Seated Massage

The Diploma of Remedial Massage will focus on outcome-based massage giving the students the opportunity to develop a wide range of practical and professional skills. This allows them to individually assess each client, develop treatment plans and strategies, and provide remedial massage or implement a series of treatments. The Remedial Massage course allows students to gain the necessary knowledge and expertise to develop professional relationships and networks, and to confidently communicate with other natural therapists and health professionals.

Pre-requisites/Entry Requirements: 

• 14 units from the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice
• Competent language and literacy skills sufficient to undertake written and oral assessments, written assignments and the reading of written resources.
• International students also require a minimum IELTS of 5.5

Diploma of Remedial Massage Course Duration

Full Time - 34 teaching weeks including 3 weeks holidays (Monday to Friday as scheduled)
Part Time - 1 year (not available to international student)
